Just like our premade themes, warp and mesh the code and nostalgic look of Guitar Hero 3 into the gameplay of your dreams! Whether it be simple color swaps, making a rectangle theme, or remaking a different game's entire HUD within GH3, this is just the right tool you'll need.
Note that this tool is only suited for this mod and not retail Guitar Hero 3, but it's not out of the realm of possibility to get such to work. However, it will require a lot more effort.

This game's engine is very flexible and is capable of an unlimited amount of creations and gameplay. To modify the inner workings of the interface, it is recommended you have intermediate knowledge of programming. This is particularly necessary for knowing how to modify the functionality that is responsible for manipulating HUD and highway elements, and additionally adding stuff on top, such as a star counter or custom particles.
You can learn about the scripting system at this page so you too can take customization a million steps further and get very creative! A script file is also available in the full template that provides examples and resources for how to write game code. Scripts from the more expansive themes for this mod are open source as well.
