OBS Studio (Open Broadcaster Software) is a free and open-source, cross-platform screencasting and streaming app. It functions in a way similar to XSplit Broadcaster where recording and streaming can be used for displaying desktop programs, webpages, media sources, along with overlaying basic elements such as colors, images, and text.
