OTVDM is a compatibility layer that replaces the obsolete NTVDM (Virtual DOS machine) in older versions of Windows, which allows you to run 16-bit Windows programs on 64-bit Windows, also known as "NE executables". This includes programs such as SkiFree, the calculator dating back to Windows 3.x, and the DirectMusic Producer installer. This cannot run "LE executables", which are strictly built to run on MS-DOS, DOSBox or similar software must be used for such.
